The files never leave your device. Parsing, tessellation and every export happen in the browser tab, which makes these tools usable on client and site models that cannot be shared with a cloud service. A small sample model is bundled with each tool so you can try the workflow before loading your own file.
Supported inputs are IFC2X3 and IFC4 STEP files, up to 50 MB each and 100 MB in total. IFC4X3 is not supported. Property and quantity values are extracted as written in the file, never computed from geometry, and missing data stays blank in exports. The merge tool is deliberately conservative: it requires the same schema, matching SI units and contexts, unique GlobalIds and your confirmation that the models share a coordinate frame, and rejects anything else rather than repairing it.

What is a Pset in IFC?
A Pset is a property set: a named group of properties attached to an element, such as Pset_WallCommon with IsExternal and FireRating. Sets starting with Pset_ are defined by buildingSMART in the IFC standard; other names are custom.

How do I merge IFC files into one?
Choose 2 to 8 compatible IFC2X3 or IFC4 files, confirm they share a coordinate frame, press Run preflight to review schema, units, contexts, storeys and GlobalId clashes, then press Merge now. The tool renumbers records, joins the projects and downloads merged.ifc.

Is my IFC file uploaded to a server?
No. The file is read by a worker inside your browser tab and never leaves your device. When you close or leave the page, the model is discarded.
