Each one works from the dimensions you enter, adds the waste allowance you set, and shows the formula it used. Where a product size matters, such as bag yield, sheet size, tile size, board width or pack coverage, the value is an editable example rather than a specification, so you can substitute the figures from your supplier. Schedules accept up to 200 rows for projects with many rooms or runs.
Imperial is the default, with cubic yards, square feet, pounds and US gallons, and a metric switch converts every dimensional field and result. Results export as PDF or CSV with the inputs and assumptions recorded, and inputs can be saved as a local JSON file.
These are quantity estimates, not designs. They do not size structure, check code requirements or price materials, and the notes on each page explain what a detailed cutting plan or a supplier take-off would add.

A 10 × 10 ft slab at 4 in thick is 33.3 ft³, which is 1.23 cubic yards. With a 10% waste allowance, order about 1.36 cubic yards.

Modular brick with 3/8 in mortar joints needs 6.75 bricks per square foot, or 675 per 100 square feet of single-wythe wall.

You need 50 tiles of 12 × 24 in to cover 100 square feet, since each covers 2 square feet. With a 10% waste allowance, buy 55.

How many sheets of drywall do I need for a 12x12 room?
A 12 × 12 ft room with 8 ft walls has 384 square feet of wall and a 144 square foot ceiling, 528 square feet in total. By area that is 17 sheets of 4 × 8 or 11 sheets of 4 × 12 before waste; a grid count per wall will be higher.
How much paint do I need for a 12x12 room?
The walls of a 12 × 12 ft room with 8 ft ceilings are 384 square feet. Two coats at 350 square feet per gallon need 2.19 gallons, or 2.41 with a 10% allowance, so buy three gallons. Adding the ceiling brings it to 3.32 gallons, or four cans.
