New Hampshire adopts a single statewide New Hampshire State Building Code under RSA 155-A, implemented through the rules of the State Building Code Review Board (Division of Fire Safety). The 2009 editions of the International Building, Residential, Plumbing, Mechanical, and Energy Conservation Codes formed the statewide code from April 1, 2010 until superseded by the 2015 editions in September 2019. Fire safety is handled under the separate State Fire Code. The model-code text below is the edition the state adopted.
