Where an appliance equipped with a mechanical forced draftsystem creates a positive pressure in the venting system, the venting system shall be designed for positive pressure applications.
The vent pipe used for defueling shall not be connected to another venting system used for any other purpose.
A venting system shall satisfy the draft requirements of the appliance in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions, and shall be constructed and installed to develop a positive flow to convey combustion products to the outside atmosphere.
